About Us
Our Story
Hi — Thanks for visiting our website!
My name is Cindy and I’m a co-founder of Avima Baby. I’m also a mom, wife, physician assistant, sister and daughter.
When I became a first-time mom in 2018 my son was colicky, and I was frustrated that none of the well-known bottle brands were able to offer any relief. I found them hard to assemble and costly. My pediatrician said my son would outgrow his colic, but my intuition told me there must be a better alternative than to wait it out.
I reached out to other moms and many reported similar experiences. Some added that their babies were not colicky, but they were also frustrated with high priced bottles that leaked, were hard to clean, and that experienced “nipple collapse” during feeding time.
Sensing a need, I teamed up with my brother Mitch to design a superior baby bottle, easy to use and available at a fair price. We worked with one of the world’s leading baby products R&D teams, and in 2019 we developed the Avima feeding bottles with Duo Flo nipples.
Our bottles were designed to help give your baby the best possible feeding experience. It’s secret is the patented Duo Flo silicone nipple.
These special nipples have 2 valves that flex and adjust the flow of milk according to your baby’s feeding pace, so your baby can drink without interruption or nipple collapse.
This advanced venting system minimizes the air going into your baby’s stomach, and can help reduce colic, gas and spit-up.
And… all our bottles contain only 4 pieces so they are easy to assemble, use and clean.
Our Safety Promise
We supply products that we trust and use on our own children.
All Avima branded products are manufactured in ISO-9001 Certified facilities that pass Social Compliance audits for safe and fair working conditions.
They are rigorously tested to make sure they are BPA free, safe and durable. We’re proud to say all our meet or exceed international safety standards. We are happy to answer any specific questions you have just email us at info@avimababy.com with any concerns.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering what the name Avima means. It’s a mash up of 2 Hebrew words: av (Father) + ima (Mother) = Avima. Simple and easy, just like our bottles and the rest of our feeding accessory range.
